Mask-Based Outreach

Describes mask-based outreach. Includes instructions for viewing and modifying the outreach schedule.

There are two types of Outreach schedules: Mask-based and Time-based outreach. For more information on Time-Based Outreach, see Time-Based Outreach (ID: 5973).

About Mask-based Outreach

Mask-based outreach is governed by a set of rules, set by the administrator, that informs how the system responds in the following scenarios:

  • Patient will be eligible for supplies other than a mask in the coming weeks.

  • Patient is not responding to outreach.

  • Patient declines to request a mask or does not complete the entire questionnaire.

  • Patient declines supplies.

Mask-based Schedule Rules

Days to look ahead for eligible items before the patient is contacted.

  • Available options are 0, 7, or 14 days.

  • If you select seven or 14 days, the system looks into the patient's supply history and determines eligibility for other non-mask-related supplies.

  • If there are items in the patient's supply history that will become eligible within the specified time frame (seven or 14 days), then the system waits to begin outreach until all items become eligible.

Days to wait before Mask-based outreach schedule restarts after no response.

  • Available options are 30, 45, 60, or 90 days.

  • Set the time to wait before the system tries to re-engage with non-responsive patients.

Days to wait before Mask-based outreach schedule restarts when patient submits partial/no mask request.

  • Available options are 30, 45, 60, or 90 days.

  • Set the time to wait before the system tries to re-engage with patients who requested supplies, but said "No" to a mask.

Days to wait before Mask-based outreach schedule restarts when patient declines new supplies.

  • Available options are 30, 45, 60, or 90 days.

  • Set the time to wait before the system tries to re-engage with patients who declined supplies.

View an Outreach Schedule

  1. From the Administration menu, select Outreach schedules

  2. In the Name column, click the Outreach schedule

Update an Outreach Schedule

  1. From the Administration menu, select Outreach schedules

  2. Click the name of the Mask-based outreach schedule

  3. Click the Edit button and update the Resupply notifications and Outreach schedule rules sections as required

  4. Click the Save button
