Enable automatic insurance verification

You're billed for each individual insurance verification (you can see this on your monthly invoice). 

As an organization administrator, when you enable Automatic insurance verification, the system checks the patient's insurance as soon as it captures the supply request. However, verification may take up to 24 hours to complete. The insurance verification only checks if the patient has valid insurance, it doesn't check eligibility for specific supply items.

Step-by-step instructions

Enable automatic insurance verification:

  1. From the Administration menu, select Organization details.
  2. At the bottom of the page, click Edit.
  3. In the Supply requests section, select the Automatic insurance verification check box.
  4. Click Save.
