Create a user

Understand user role permissions

Only administrators of your organization can create new users. Before you add a user to your organization, it is important that you understand the permissions each role has. Below is an overview of the permissions by role.

Create user 

  1. From the Administration menu, select Users.
  2. Click Add user.
  3. Select Title (optional).
  4. Enter first name, last name and username.
  5. Select the password reset method.
  6. Select the role you want to assign the user.
  7. If you select Resupply user only, determine which location(s) the user can access:
    • If the user requires access to all current and future locations:
      • Select All locations.
    • If the user requires access to all current but not future locations:
      • Click Add all.
    • If the user needs access to a specific location in the list:
      • Select the required location and click Add.
    • If the user requires access to more than one location but not all:
      • On your keyboard press and hold Ctrl and select all the required locations.
      • Click Add.
  8. Click Save

ResMed ReSupply Tip: we recommend you choose the Email the user a link to log in and set their own password option, so the user can set their own password
