Patient Portal Account Activation

Instructions for activating a patient portal. Includes list of password requirements.

Role required: Resupply user

A patient must activate their account and create a password before they can access the patient portal.

Activate Patient Portal 

Have the patient activate their account as follows. All steps are performed by the patient and all information entered refers to the patient.

  1. Go to https://myresupply.resmed.com/

  2. On the ResMed ReSupply Login page, enter the email address the provider has on file with the organization

  3. Click the Continue button

  4. Enter your (patient's) four-digit birth year (for example, 1961)

  5. Click the Continue button

  6. After a few minutes, check your (patient's) inbox for an email message from ResMed ReSupply

  7. Within the email, click the Confirm your account button

  8. On the ResMed ReSupply Set password page, enter a new password that meets the password requirements below

  9. Click the Continue button

Password Requirements 

A password:

  • Must be between 8 and 16 characters

  • Cannot contain the same character more than three times in a row

  • Cannot be the same as your username 

  • Has to be unique

    • Cannot be one of the last 10 passwords used

    • Cannot be a password used within the last 12 months

  • Must contain all of the following types of characters

    • Upper case letter

    • Lower case letter

    • Number

    • Special character
