Send a message to a patient
Role required: Resupply user
To send a message to a patient:
- In the Patients menu, select All patients.
- Search for the patient using the search field provided.
- In the Name column, click the patient's name and select Messages.
- Click New message.
- Add Subject line and Message content.
- Click Send.
Note: When you reply to or send a new message, the patient receives an email notification that shows a new message is available for review in the patient portal.
