Send a message to a patient

Role required: Resupply user

To send a message to a patient: 

  1. In the Patients menu, select All patients.
  2. Search for the patient using the search field provided.
  3. In the Name column, click the patient's name and select Messages
  4. Click New message
  5. Add Subject line and Message content. 
  6. Click Send.

Note: When you reply to or send a new message, the patient receives an email notification that shows a new message is available for review in the patient portal.
